Facility siting data

➢      Facility siting encompasses a web of issues involving benefits for individuals and the community, potential new risks or negative consequences, the trust and legitimacy of those involved in planning and management, and possible compensation for negatively affected stakeholders.

➢      Operating facilities must use all possible resources such as checklists, plot plans/elevation drawings, models, tours, etc., when performing a process hazard analysis (PHA). More importantly, the facility-siting evaluation techniques must be cost-effective, user friendly and results oriented.
