Risk-based Process Safety Management

Risk-based Process Safety Management is an approach of risk management in which an organization complies with regulatory requirements, appropriately applies lessons learned from experience across the company or industry, and continues to use  indicators to help guide its process safety program.

Risk-based Process Safety Management (RBPS) is a process safety management system that uses risk-based strategies and implementation tactics that are commensurate with the demand for process safety activities, availability of resources and existing organizational culture to design, correct, and improve process safety management activities.
